Accessibility

Standards

We aim to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Our site is built with semantic HTML, meaningful headings, keyboard-navigable forms and controls, and color contrast that meets or exceeds AA thresholds on body text.

What we've done

• All forms have labels associated with inputs
• All images have alt text, or are marked decorative
• Navigation and interactive elements are keyboard-accessible
• Pages use semantic landmarks (nav, main, footer)
• Calculators produce text results (not only visual), so screen readers can announce them
• Links indicate destination clearly, not just “click here”

Known issues

• The side-by-side comparison builder's drag-reorder has not been tested with all screen readers (Q3 2026)
• Some older review pages linked from the news archive have not yet been retrofitted to the current accessible template

Testing

We test with a combination of automated tools (axe-core, Lighthouse), manual keyboard-only navigation, and quarterly screen-reader testing with NVDA and VoiceOver. We do not test exhaustively with every assistive technology combination.

Report a barrier

If you find an accessibility barrier, email accessibility@cashoffercomparison.com. We'll respond within 2 business days and, for confirmed issues, provide a remediation plan within 10 business days. Confirmed WCAG AA issues are prioritized for the next release cycle.

Alternative formats

If you need content from our site in an alternate format (large print, audio, plain-text email), email accessibility@cashoffercomparison.com and we'll help within 5 business days.

Third-party content

Programs we link to from the Site have their own accessibility postures. We encourage programs to meet at least WCAG AA but don't control third-party sites.
